    @ Ali
    I just checked and you didn't use the same email. Now you have submitted your email starting with a capital "A" but the other results were submitted with a lower-case "a".

by Ali on 2013-03-01 21:34:25
    Yes it is the same email.

by hyper_ch on 2013-03-01 20:13:00
    @ Ali
    Did you use the same email address?

    @ n80j86
    The Parent Tab is soley based upon submissions. If there are no breeding submissions with them as parents, then they won't have an entry.

by n80j86 on 2013-03-01 19:56:39
    Any plans to update the by parents tab to include chocolate, night, etc?

by Ali on 2013-03-01 16:17:48
    My list of breeding results is blank even though I've submitted at least 100 results. However my list of dragons is always remembered.
    I mentioned it in a comment not long ago and you said it was probably an error with my cookies and that when I added another outcome then all my others would come back, but they haven't. Even when I enter a new one and submit it says I have no results to show :(
    Ps this is typed on my ipod, but I typically only use my laptop with win 7 and chrome to submit if that means anything useful.

by hyper_ch on 2013-03-01 10:17:00
    @ Ali
    What is still blank?

    @ fken
    I think I fixed it now... all the pink/diamond/black stuff seems to have broken it

    @ n80j86
    Well, it was unclear first if black can also break down like pink does - know we know it does. Please try again.

by n80j86 on 2013-03-01 05:31:14
    tried submiting my successful night breeding, and received an error

by fken on 2013-03-01 02:07:59
    I've found a mistake on how the pink color works. In "Find Matches", if you select any combo that has pink in it, results that have both pink and red or white are always possible, when they shouldn't be.

    Say, for example, when breeding Virtue and Forest, you should be able to get green and red hybrids such as Life, green and white such as Fuzzy or even red and white such as Love, but you should never get Justice or Tiny.

    In order to get these pink/white or pink/red hybrids, you must have a true source of red or white. For example, Virtue + Light may result in Chocolate, and Virtue + Love may result in Chocolate, Tiny or Justice.

    Hope I could make myself clear... I think the problem lies in how the color pool works in your calculator. Whenever pink is selected, it also applies both white and red into the pool, but that's not how it's supposed to work.

    The new black color splits as well, so when breeding Night + Fire, you can get not only Goblin, but also Charm, Coral, Athletic, Magic, etc.

    There are a few glitches in the trading stats, too. I can't deactivate any wrong results and I tried to submit a Magic Scroll that somehow ended up as a Lotus Blossom.

    All that aside, your calculator has been very useful to me. Keep up the good work and I hope I could be of help!

by Ali on 2013-02-28 20:33:42
    None of my breeding results are showing up. I did what you said about them showing up after submitting a new one but when I submit anything the list is still blank.

    Hello,
    I couldn't figure out the java script issue, but it is working on home computer. Other than that, now I am having an issue with my selected dragons. I do not have the history set to clear when page is closed, but when I go to a different tab and come back to dragons tab, some of my selections have been reset. Currently, it says I have 46 and keeps reseting to 46 when I have selected additional dragons. Any ideas?

by hyper_ch on 2013-02-26 11:55:15
    @Titi

    Had an error in the code... stupid splitting of pink color into red and white :)

by Titi on 2013-02-26 11:30:19
    Just breeding Diamond dan Tiny the result is 5h, but not show in the list find matches

by @Ali on 2013-02-25 15:05:07
    You can submit the result when you have the egg. You don't need to wait for the egg to hatch. Also, the "Find Matches" tab shows you now the egg pics - with a click even enlarged. That should help you :)

by Ali on 2013-02-23 20:26:42
    I'm still having problems viewing my previously submitted results. At first my results would appear and disappear after submitting a new one. Now they aren't showing up at all. My email is still recognized though because it says my results are automatically activated. I have checked and I haven't changed anything about my cookie settings.

by hyper_ch on 2013-02-22 21:39:37
    @n80j86

    Not Java but JavaScript - those are totally different things. It can be slow at first initializing sometimes. Maybe you just were too quick :)

by n80j86 on 2013-02-22 18:49:16
    It is weird, because I have not changed settings on my computer nor my phone, and I cannot get the autofill to come up. I checked my java, and it is enabled. Not sure what to do. Thanks though

by hyper_ch on 2013-02-22 17:06:12
    @djeaton

    I'll implement that... somehow :) have to see how I'm going about it.

    @n80j86

    That's weird. I haven't changed anything really... make sure you have JavaScript activated and depending on the device you use, the JS might need to load first for a few seconds before the drop downs appear.

    I tried with Chromium/Firefox on my computer and default Android browser and it works.

by n80j86 on 2013-02-22 16:56:25
    I can no longer fill in matches on my phone or computer. It constantly tells me that there is an error. Before, there use to be a drop down box to chose from as I typed, and now nothing comes up. I thought it was just my phone, but the computer does it too. I would like to be able to submit my breedings again. Thanks

by djeaton (storm8 ID) on 2013-02-21 20:48:11
    Is there any way for you to read my "already have" list and highlight the dragons I already have when I "find matches"? I'm trying to figure out what of my dragons that I currently have that I can breed with the highest number of possible outcomes that I don't already have - if that makes sense. Even if you couldn't highlight them and just put something in the header of how many of the possible offspring are new and how many are duplicates, it would be very helpful.

by hyper_ch on 2013-02-20 07:16:24
    @fken

    Fixed it. Thanks for pointing this out.

by fken on 2013-02-20 03:41:03
    I'm trying to submit a breeding of a Seabreeze Dragon paired with a Chocolate Dragon that resulted in a Diamond Dragon, but it says "There have been some error. Please try again".

    Just to let you know.

by hyper_ch on 2013-02-19 16:30:34
    @Ali

    It's all dependant on cookies and email address. Once you submit another result (or this comment here), your email address should be set as cookie again and based on that lookups are made to check your supplied breeding results.

by Ali on 2013-02-19 16:28:24
    It seems that all of my breeding stats are gone but the front page still remembers what dragons I have checked off. I'm hoping it's a temporary glitch but I thought you should be aware :)

    I have already the Passion Dragon, its on lvel 5 now, but I can't breeding it with some other dragons.

by hyper_ch on 2013-02-10 14:38:02
    @Dragon Fly

    You need 2 diamonds or 1x LeftHeart, 1x RightHeart

by Dragon Fly on 2013-02-10 14:11:39
    Can u tell me why I can't breed with the passion dragon?
    Can't find it in the breeding chart. It seems like never excist!

    You can also click them to see them big :)

    WOW! You added illustrations of the eggs

    Thankyou!

    Just wanted to say that you getting banned from the forums is ridiculous. I've got similar issues with Kooky Panda, who seems to be on a power trip and holds grudges against users that she doesn't like. She's deleted my posts/locked my threads for ridiculous reasons. I'm sorry that you've had a similar experience!

    Anyway, thank you SO much for all the work you've put into this! Seriously, it's great. I'm going to be utilizing it from now on.

by hyper_ch on 2013-02-04 06:14:01
    @Crystal K: As said before, only the result from the mystic box varies so only that result is interesting to track. So there cannot be two things to submit.

by Crystal K on 2013-02-04 02:32:52
    I'm still waiting for an answer about submitting our trade results if we get multiple stones in the trade & I'm wondering when you'll put up an icon for the amethyst so it's not sitting there with an empty box.

by fken on 2013-02-02 18:00:43
    I've mistakenly submitted the trade of the Fruitful Dragon for the Small Ruby and can't delete this result no matter what. Is this a glitch?

by hyper_ch on 2013-01-31 10:37:15
    @icecream0v0

    To make the use of this tool here simple, I don't require any login etc. So authentication is soley provided by the email address you use. As soon as you submit a breeding result, trading result or feedback, a cookie with your email address will be set.

    With that cookie, you can then access your dragons again.

    Also the have / have not list of dragons is also maintained purely by cookie.

    I plan to add a button which will mark all your breeding results as "have" dragons (one day).

by icecream0v0 on 2013-01-31 10:21:24
    Well uh...After I submitted the feedback the results appeared right awayXP But I would still like to know if the results really did not show up, are there any possible means to get it back?

by icecream0v0 on 2013-01-31 10:18:46
    Is there any possible way to retrieve my breeding results? Cos I have always relied on this website to record my breeding results and then today I logged in and all the records were gone! Please can anyone look into the problem

by Crystal K. on 2013-01-30 03:05:32
    I don't understand.... We're supposed to submit our trade results from the trade portal. But it says "type new result if not yet in list". So when I got an small amethyst & it wasn't in the list yet, was I supposed to type "small amethyst" or "new result" or "small amethyst (new result)" when I submitted my result? And when I got the small ruby, small sapphire & small emerald all together at once, was I supposed to submit them as 1 entry or submit them as 3 separate entries like I did?

by hyper_ch on 2013-01-25 23:03:00
    Only include stuff you get from the mystery box. That is the only variable thing.

by Crystal K. on 2013-01-25 21:24:41
    It was my Firestorm Dragon on Jan 8th that came back with a small ruby, small emerald & small sapphire

by Crystal K. on 2013-01-25 21:21:49
    I'm the one who submitted the trade of the poison dragon that got the small Amythest. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to type "new result" after it or in it's place or what. The instructions weren't super clear on that. I see that someone has put in a trade with a result of nether dust as a new result, but it's the 2nd one, not a new one. Also one of my dragons came back with 3 gems instead of a single gem & I didn't know if I was supposed to submit that as 1 or not. I ended up placing it as 3 individual trades. It's the only time I've had a dragon come back with more than 1 gem. How do you want to handle those trade results?

by hyper_ch on 2013-01-23 09:43:58
    @ Ali

    I'll have to think about that. :)

by Ali on 2013-01-21 02:27:06
    I love using the Find Matches page! One thing would just make it perfect. An "add all to breeding" option to add all the possibilities to My Breeding, only deactivated. Then when we find out which dragon we are getting we can activate the one and delete the others.

    Still love this tool, it's fantastic, thanks again (:

    > I do know some databases can get laggy once the amount of data increases

    The problem with the lag for loading all submissions is the JS. Datatables requies quite a bit of performance to run on your device. I have to see if I can operate it. I mean displaying a 10k or 20k or 100k table in HTML isn't "a big deal" but running it all through JS is....

    Or you just keep track by ticking the checkboxes... I'll have to see how I can implement that but first there are other things to do.

    I was looking through some of your breeding stats, and I noticed two separate table values that need to be merged. I've noticed when displaying breeding colors you (wisely) try to sort colors and names in the same order each time, but it looks like this one slipped through the cracks. I don't know how you organize your database, but I guess it's a slight hiccup in your query rather than the table itself. @ Oriah

    Diamond Dragons have special rules. Breeding Diamond with another Diamond can result in any single colored dragon. More info is here.
    http://dragon-story.wikia.com/wiki/Diamond_Dragon

    @ hyper_ch

    Databases like mySQL are great for storing info and getting all sorts of great conclusions. Thank you hyper, Sylvandy and Knj00 :)

    I do know some databases can get laggy once the amount of data increases to huge levels, so good luck keeping everything responsive.

    While it probably would add to the load, I think it would be neat if the "Dragons" tab would reference the dragons from your "My Breeding" tab to auto-check any dragons you have or just hatched. It could be optional by you adding in your email address if you want to reference your own breeding. It would also be a good way for you to show your friends what dragons you have by telling them to enter in your email.

by Oriah on 2013-01-06 07:17:27
    Really love the site, its most helpful, I was wondering why if I breed my two diamond dragons do I not get a diamond.. most frustrating.

by hyper_ch on 2013-01-05 08:12:49
    @ DC

    Thanks. The advantage I have is that I use a database to store the results while on the Wikia it's all stored in 'html'. So I can pull different results and run them through all kind of processing. Wikia itself does also allow some basic manipulation but by for not this much.

    Btw, Sylvandy and Knj00 are great with the help provided for the breeding rules and supplying info :)

by DC on 2013-01-05 07:27:19
    I just thought I'd tell you awesome work hyper_ch. I've been posting my breeding results to the dragon story wiki, but I knew their information gathering system wasn't the most accurate, while this system is far better. I'm glad they now redirect us all here and I found your site!

by hyper_ch on 2012-12-25 10:09:16
    @Ali:

    Hmmm, I can't quite follow where such a situation occurs. If you enter two new dragons into the breeding den, then they won't disappear from it until you lay the egg in the nest. So you will know up until then what dragons bred what egg.

by hyper_ch on 2012-12-24 15:51:06
    @peg

    This happens when you hit reload button. The data is being submitted again. I will have to fix that some time.
